Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	IN THE ETHER (*P Mxoli) was slow losing one length.
b)	BEADED GOWN (R Danielson) was restless in the stalls and thereafter jumped awkwardly outwards.
c)	ABOVE THE WORLD (M van Rensburg) jumped inwards sharply leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	Shortly after the start, BLACK BURNER (C Maujean) was bumped by BEADED GOWN (R Danielson) which fly-jumped leaving the stalls.
b)	As the start was effected, DARK TIDE (J Penny) and SAMOA (G Lerena) suffered varying degrees of interference when awkwardly placed between TRUST THE FIRE (C Habib) which jumped out and ABOVE THE WORLD (M van Rensburg) which jumped inwards sharply leaving the stalls.
ABOVE THE WORLD's future starting stall behaviour will be monitored.
c)	Jockey R Danielson the rider of BEADED GOWN briefly adjusted the footing to his left side stirrup iron at the 400m. 
d)	Jockey M van Rensburg reported that ABOVE THE WORLD did not stride out freely in running.  The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	IN THE ETHER (*P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Stable Employee H Chauque advised (AH).

JOCKEY CHANGES:

a)	BEADED GOWN Jockey R Danielson weighed out at 56,6kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.

THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED:

a)	BLACK BURNER brush wound left hind.
