THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SILVER CRUSADE (S Khumalo) was stubborn to load. Lost 2 lengths. b) PRETTY ANALIA (S Moodley) was restless in the stalls. c) ST CLOUD (*M K Katjedi) and APPROACHABLE LASS (*G Pieterse) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 600m, I'VE GOT WINGS (C Habib) was carried out by SILVER CRUSADE (S Khumalo) which shifted out off the heels of a tiring NABIAS (T Gumede). b) Between the 300m and 200m, VIVIR MI VIDA (A Arries) was carried out by BRIGHT STAR (R Khathi) which was hanging out and shifted out away from the crop. Jockey R Khathi appeared before the Board with regard to the above incident and was advised to react sooner to correct his mount in future. c) APPROACHABLE LASS (*G Pieterse) raced green. d) In view of the performance of NABIAS (T Gumede) (23.45 lengths, 16/1 betting) and ST CLOUD (*M K Katjedi) (16.05 lengths, 14/1 betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with SILVER CRUSADE post-race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) BRIGHT STAR (R Khathi), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer N Kotzen advised (DZ ).
