THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUDDEN SATR (S Khumalo) was slow into stride. b) LA LUVIA (*P Mxoli) was unruly in the stalls and dislodged Apprentice Mxoli. LA LUVIA was removed from the stalls, examined by the Course Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently scratched for injuring itself. The Starting Stall Certificate for this mare has been withdrawn. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to LA LUVIA, this mare has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 30 December 2022 to 5 January 2023. LA LUVIA may not be presented for repassing during this period. Stable Employee H Chauque advised (GT). b) PAISLEY PARK (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
