THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Approaching the 1200m, BABY SHOOZ (T Gumede) was carried wide by LORD WYLIE (C Habib) which began to over-race and shifted out. Thereafter LORD WYLIE (C Habib) over-raced in the middle stages. b) RALPH THE RASCAL (*R A Venniker) and NOBLE SNIPER (A Mgudlwa) came together and brushed shortly before the finish. c) PURPLE NKANYEZI (S Moodley) was hanging in throughout. In view of this report the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) MR PIGALLE (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer M Naidoo acting on behalf of Trainer P Muscutt advised (DZ). e) LORD WYLIE (C Habib), unplaced, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W Whitehead advised (HM) JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) BABY SHOOZ : Raced equipped ear muffs (advised 27.12.22/11h36). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
