THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GIANTS CASTLE (M Yeni) was stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) TIGKITA (J Gates) was tightened and steadied shortly after the start. b) In view of the performance of RED PIANO (K de Melo) (10.40 lengths, 9/2 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to GIANTS CASTLE (M Yeni), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 30 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a Race-day. Suspension dates: 02.01.23 to the 31.01.23. GIANTS CASTLE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer N Kotzen was advised.
