THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KEIRAS RANGER (J Greyling) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) GHAWE LAMI (R Munger) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) KEIRAS RANGER (J Greyling) kicked the back gates as the start was effected. b) COMMANDER OF ALL (*S Sosibo) commenced to hang in from the 300m. c) Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with FAST TRACK in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) Trainer J A Visser was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that he failed to vaccinate the horse POMO CLAPPER against Equine Influenza in accordance with the programme of vaccinations as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. Trainer Visser signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000. e) EXCHANGE STUDENT (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Dawson advised (LK). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
