THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	CAPE BOUQUET (*D B Geerthsen) was stubborn loading. Trainer B Webber was advised to reschool 	this filly 	prior to her next engagement (GT).
b)	FIVE FORTUNES (*J R Syster) was stubborn loading. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been 	withdrawn. Trainer B Webber was advised (GT).
c)	KAY FRANCIS (S Brown) and PINKY LEVINE (K de Melo) were slow losing one length.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	WIKKEL SPIKKEL (J Gates) hung out around the turn.
b)	NIGHT LILY (R Munger) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages.
c)	Jockey	K Matsunyane reported that SING GIRL SING did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d)	Jockey S Brown reported that KAY FRANCIS did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.	
e)	Jockey	C Zackey reported that PUTTING GREEN made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
	The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
f)	Jockey	J Gates reported that WIKKEL SPIKKEL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
	The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
g)	Jockey Wes Marwing reported that he felt something amiss with BELLE OMBRE in running.
	The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.	
h)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to FIVE FORTUNES, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. 
	Suspension dates: 14 January 2022 to 20 January 2022.  FIVE FORTUNES may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer B Webber was advised.              
i)	Jockey G Lerena was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he misused his crop by striking UBIQUITAS more than twelve times in the entire race.  Jockey G Lerena signed an Admission of Guilt and a fine of R 1,000.00 was imposed. 
	When assessing this penalty, the Board took into consideration the number of times the crop was used (13) and his recent record in relation to this Rule and Guideline.
j)	In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report, KAY FRANCIS is suspended indefinitely in terms of Rule 93.1. Veterinary report required prior to entry. KAY FRANCIS is required to perform a gallop to the satisfaction of the NHA veterinary department prior to her next engagement. Trainer T Zackey advised.	
k)	UBIQUITAS (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

a)	DESTINY RULES no veterinary certificate. Advised 12 January 2022 at 11H28.
