THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KALAHARI BLUE (K de Melo) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) RAMCHANDANI ROAD (C Habib) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FRONTLINE FIGHTER (*S Sosibo) hung out throughout and Apprentice S Sosibo accidentally dropped his crop at the 600m. b) ANGEL OF WAR (*R A Venniker) hung out in the concluding stages. c) Apprentice G Pieterse reported that he felt something amiss with SPIELBERG in running and thereafter this gelding stumbled in the pull-up area. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) ARBITRATOR (D De Gouveia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P F Matchett advised (MduP).
