Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	On arriving at the start Jockey M Mjoka (IDEAL TIME) became aware that the shaft of his crop had cracked. A replacement crop had to be sent to the start, causing a delay.
b)	LIGHT WITHOUT (R Danielson) was stubborn loading.
c)	MASTER VISION (D Schwarz) was restless in the stalls.


THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 
 
a)	In view of the performance of WARBONNET CREEK (IRE) (L Mxothwa), which refused to settle in the early and middle stages and tired quickly in the straight, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	GAUL RULER (M Thackeray) was hanging out on the bend.
c)	POWER SURGE (JP van der Merwe) was hanging out from the 300m.
d)	Jockey W Agrella was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.4 in that he failed to weigh out at the carded weight on ESSOS, resulting in a change of rider. Jockey W Agrella signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1000.00.
e)	TRACK COMMANDER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised. (SP)
