THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair break. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey R Satombo, the rider of RED TOP, was advised against the practice of looking around in races. Further, the provisions of Rule 62.2.8 were brought to his attention, which entail that he keeps his mounts on a straight course relative to his drawn position for the first 200m of a race over a straight course. b) The Stewards, after interviewing the riders in this race, amended the official track condition from that of Heavy to Slightly Soft. This change was made to be retrospective. c) RED TOP, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Swanson advised (AJ).
