THE STARTER REPORTED:

a) TESTIFY (W Shumba) jumped outwards and lost 1.50 lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a) Jockey R Satombo, the rider of JUSTADOREHER, signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention of Rule 55.4, read in conjunction with the guidelines on overweight, in that he failed to make the carded weight confirmed in his engagement to ride JUSTADOREHER for Trainer D Swanson. Jockey Satombo signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined $50.
b) STAR AGLOW (N Takawira) was hanging in throughout and as a result bumped ACTION ZONE (D Schwarz) at the 500m and was switched out continue its run in the closing stages.
c) Jockey D Schwarz, the rider of ACTION ZONE, reported that this gelding tired quickly in the concluding stages. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d) POWDER PUFF (K Derere) was hanging out from the 400m.
e) The Stewards determined that a section of the outside running rail was not in place during the race. Mashonaland Turf Club will be made aware of this serious concern.
f) STAR AGLOW, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Swanson advised (AJ).

a) POWDER PUFF (K Derere) raced without alumites and equipped with steel shoes.
