THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GRAND WARRIOR (N Takawira) was stubborn to load. b) Jockey R Satombo was charged with a contravention of Rule 61.5.17 in that he committed a misdemeanour at the start by not following the Starter's instructions. Jockey Satombo signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined $60. c) A fair break. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 800m FORGOTTEN TIME (D Schwarz) ducked out suddenly and veered to the outside rail. Consequently the gelding was eased out of the race. As the Stewards determined that the actions of this gelding is a source of danger or interference to horses and riders, FORGOTTEN TIME is suspended in terms of Rule 93.2.5 from being declared to race until such time that he is certified tractable with company and starts from a position in the back straight and races around the bend to the satisfaction of the NHA Officials. b) RAINING AGAIN (J Penny) and IAN'S FERRARI (J Penny) raced tight and bumped on a number of occasions shortly before and after entering the home straight. c) Jockey N Takawira was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.10 in that whilst riding GRAND WARRIOR, he saluted in a celebratory gesture prior to the finish line Jockey Takawira signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined $60. d) GRAND WARRIOR, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Swanson advised (AJ). JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES: a) IAN'S FERRARI (J Penny) raced equipped with earmuffs. b) FORGOTTEN TIME (D Schwarz) raced without alumites and equipped with steel shoes and raced without blinkers.
