THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	KEBONALESEDI (S Veale) and BARNBOUGLE (L Mxothwa) were restless in the stalls.
b)	SNOW CLOUD (L Tarentaal) was restless in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.
c)	KELP FOREST (JP van der Merwe) jumped awkwardly inwards.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	At the 100m BARNBOUGLE (L Mxothwa) was carried inwards by SAN PEDRO (C Orffer), which shifted in away from the crop and was immediately straightened.
b)	KELP FOREST (JP van der Merwe), DESTINY'S ANGEL (K Steyn) and TAMBOURINE MAN (A Domeyer) raced green.
c)	Apprentice RA Venniker reported that WINNING CAPTAIN changed stride continually in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	Jockey G Wright reported that FORGED STEEL took no interest in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	Trainer P Muscutt was charged with a contravention of Rule 10.5.6.3, in that he failed to give written notice within two (2) business days of NOBLE CITY entering his training establishment that it was a gelding. Trainer P Muscutt signed an admission of guilt and was given the penalty of a warning.
f)	NOBLE CITY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P Muscutt was advised. (SC)
