Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	HARLEY STREET (K de Melo) and ZABADAK (*R A Venniker) were restless in the stalls.
b)	DOUBLE RUGGED (C F Dicken) and MAYA'S CAT (A Mgudlwa) were slow into stride.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	ZABADAK (*R A Venniker) jumped inwards at the start, was corrected and thereafter took an awkward stride.
b)	 Shortly after the start, SWIFT NICKS (M Yeni) was carried in and thereafter inconvenienced by ZABADAK (*R A Venniker) which shifted in.  SWIFT NICKS (M Yeni) then commenced to over-race in the early stages. Apprentice R A Venniker (ZABADAK) appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take more care when allowing her mounts to shift ground in races in future.
c)	At the 150m, Jockey A Mgudlwa's (MAYA'S CAT) crop became briefly entangled in his reins.
d)	SPACE COWBOY (R Khathi) and ARVERNI KING (T Godden) came together and brushed on 3 occasions in the concluding stages.
e)	HARLEY STREET (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Fripp acting on behalf of Trainer A Rivalland advised (NS).
f)	LAW COURT (K Matsunyane), unplaced was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Rich acting on behalf of Trainer K Naidoo advised (DZ).
