THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair break. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) RAINING AGAIN (W Shumba) shifted out away from the crop from the 300m and thereafter commenced to hang out from the 200m. b) In view of the performance of IDEAL VIEW (N Takawira), the course veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding post race. c) RAINING AGAIN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G MacLeod advised (AJ). JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES: a) DIFFERENTIATE (M Josi) raced without steel shoes and equipped with alumites. b) IAN'S FERRARI raced with earmuffs on. c) ZAZU (R Satombo) raced with a compression mask on. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) IDEAL VIEW was examined post race and found to be in mild respiratory distress. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
