a)	OTIS THE BRAVE (D Ashby), which was restless in the stalls, caught his right hind leg on the running board, was taken out, examined by the course veterinary surgeon, passed suitable to race and reloaded, causing a delay.
b)	CYBOTIX (M Yeni) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	CAITLYNS BOY (K Steyn) shifted both ways away from the crop between the 400m and the 200m.
b)	The saddle on NUMZAAN (K Matsunyane) slipped back slightly in running.
c)	Jockey K de Melo reported that LOGISTICAL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
d)	In view of the Starter's report, the veterinary surgeon was requested to re-examine OTIS THE BRAVE (D Ashby).
e)	In view of the performance of SEATTLEGREENLIGHT (R Danielson), the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
