THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start for all runners. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ICE KINGDOM (*S Hlengwa) which commenced to over-race in the early and middle stages, had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of FEVER (M Yeni). As a consequence of this, ZAKHO (*R Venniker) was carried out by ICE KINGDOM (*S Hlengwa). b) LOU LOU THE LEGEND (S Veale) was hanging out from the 300m. c) Apprentice R Venniker reported that she felt something amiss with ZAKHO in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) AERIAL DISPLAY (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M Miller was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) LOU LOU THE LEGEND was ridden by Jockey S Veale (advised 30.01.2023 / 08h10).
