THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMBER SKY (R Khathi) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, AMBER SKY (R Khathi) was bumped out by CAPTAIN'S CHRISTY (C F Dicken) which jumped outwards. b) At approximately the 150m, EPIC VIEW (A Mgudlwa) had to steady when awkwardly placed on the heels of DRESSEDTOTHENINES (S Veale) which was brushed in and carried in by CHEZ MIMI (*R A Venniker) which was hanging in from the 300m. c) In the concluding stages, LADY LACEWING (K Matsunyane) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of DRESSEDTOTHENINES (S Veale) which was bumped in by CHEZ MIMI (*R A Venniker) which continued to hang in. d) Apprentice R A Venniker reported that she felt something amiss with CHEZ MIMI in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) CAPTAIN'S CHRISTY (C F Dicken), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Dixon advised (NS).
