a)	MASTER TOBE (S Veale) and FUTURISMO (R Khathi) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	DEVILS AND DUST (M Yeni) commenced to over-race in the early and middle stages.
b)	FOREST JUMP (*M K Katjedi) was hanging out from the 300m.
c)	In the concluding stages Apprentice M K Katjedi (FOREST JUMP) lost his footing to his stirrup irons, and as a consequence he was dislodged.
d)	Shortly before the finish CAVALIERI (A Mgudlwa) and DEVILS AND DUST (M Yeni) were switched in to avoid the fallen rider. 
e)	Apprentice M K Katjedi's (FOREST JUMP) riding equipment was inspected by a Stipendiary Steward after the running of this race and found to be in good order.
f)	Jockey R Khathi reported that FUTURISMO took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
g)	MASTER TOBE (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Dixon advised (NS).
