THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DEAN STREET (S Khumalo) jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) GREENLIGHTFORGO (L Mxothwa), which raced green, shifted in sharply away from the crop and had to be straightened leaving the 200m. b) Approaching the 100m MASTER OF TIME (R Khathi) was awkwardly placed on the outside of SWIFT ACTION (K Steyn) which rolled out. c) BOISTEROUS BUDDY (R Fourie) was hanging out late. d) DEAN STREET (S Khumalo) raced green. e) Jockey B Fayd'Herbe reported that LYRICS TO LOVE choked up in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. f) RIDGE TO REEF, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PP Kruyer was advised.
