THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FIELD OF VISION (K Matsunyane) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) KARIN'S LEGACY (M van Rensburg) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LIDL MISS SUNSHINE (R Munger), which raced wide and without cover throughout, commenced to hang in from the 500m. b) KARIN'S LEGACY (M van Rensburg) proved difficult to settle in the early and middle stages. c) Jockey G Lerena, the rider of TINDER DRY, briefly lost the footing to his right-side stirrup iron at the 400m. d) Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with ARDEN PARK in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) LAST CHEER (N Klink), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
