THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PERFECT WITNESS (*M K Katjedi) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) DIVINE ODYSSEY (C Maujean) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, PERFECT WITNESS (*M K Katjedi) and FLASHY APACHE (*P Mxoli) came together and bumped and as a consequence of this, Apprentice P Mxoli (FLASHY APACHE) briefly lost the footing to his right-side stirrup iron. b) LITIGATION (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) LIGHT OF THE MOON was ridden by Apprentice S Sosibo (declared 18 February 2023 at 07H37). b) SECOND BASE was ridden by Jockey R Danielson (declared 22 February 2023 at 08H35). c) NEBRAAS was ridden by Jockey D De Gouveia (declared 22 February 2023 at 09H28).
