THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	HOTCHIWITCHI (*S Sosibo) stood losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this mare has been withdrawn. Trainer S Moffatt was advised (LAS).	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	HOTCHIWITCHI (*S Sosibo) stood losing many lengths and as a consequence of being unable to make up the deficit, raced detached from the field throughout.
b)	BUSHVELD (K de Melo), after racing prominently throughout, tired badly in the concluding stages, 
In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
c)	At approximately the 200m, MAMAQUERA (K Matsunyane) had to steady when awkwardly placed between ROSAPRIMA (R Munger) and BUSHVELD (K de Melo). 
d)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to HOTCHIWITCHI, this mare's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable jumping with a companion. 
Suspension dates: 24 February 2023 to 2 March 2023.  HOTCHIWITCHI may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer S Moffatt was advised.
