a)	JUST FOREVER (K Minnie) was stubborn loading and thereafter slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	RUSSIAN EMPIRE took an awkward stride at the 450m and again at the 350m and then was eased out of the race by Apprentice P Mxoli. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
b)	Jockey L Mxothwa reported that he felt something amiss with INDY VIEW. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
c)	Jockey K Minnie reported that he felt something amiss with JUST FOREVER and he did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d)	KHAYA'S HOPE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer FJ Jacobs, acting on behalf of Trainer GD Smith, was advised. (LM)
