THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STREETS OF SIENNA (R Munger) jumped outwards and EMIRATE GINA (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, MAGIC TATTOO (C Habib) and STREETS OF SIENNA (R Munger) were bumped in by EMIRATE GINA (G Lerena) which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) TAIKONAUT (D Schwarz) hung in from the 400m. c) SET TO GO (M Khan), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter advised (LN). d) Trainer R R Magner was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.3 in that he failed to have the horses TAIKONAUT (Race 1) and KITTY CORNER (Race 3) vaccinated against African Horse Sickness in accordance with the programme of vaccination as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. Trainer Magner signed an Admission of Guilt and a fine of R1000 was imposed. JOCKEY CHANGES: a) VASILIKOS was ridden by Jockey C Zackey (declared 18 January 2022 at 08H32).
