THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MISS TUCKER (C Maujean) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 250m FIERY CLIFFS (JP van der Merwe) had to be steadied and directed outwards to avoid the heels of a tiring KIND OF BLUE (Y Ramzan). b) At the 100m MISS TUCKER (C Maujean) and WOODLAND RIDGE (S Khathi) bumped when MISS TUCKER (C Maujean) rolled out and WOODLAND RIDGE (S Khathi) rolled inward away from SIBERIAN FOX (R Munger). c) Jockey S Khathi reported that WOODLAND RIDGE coughed post-race. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) CAITLYNS BOY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
