THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RESPECTABLE MISS (S Khathi) was stubborn loading. b) HEARTSEASE (JP van der Merwe) was stubborn loading and thereafter, slow into stride. c) RIVER CAFE (D Ashby) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) WILDEST DREAMS (X Ndlovu) was bumped on the hindquarter by GOLIGHTLY (R Fourie), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) Jockey R Munger reported that ANATURA did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) GOLIGHTLY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Mtengwana, acting on behalf of Trainer AC Greeff, was advised.
