THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CRUIZIN CALIFORNIA (J Jacobs) jumped slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. b) DESTINED TO DANCE (O Noach) jumped awkwardly, losing one length. c) PHILOSOPHISE (G van Niekerk) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LUCY THE PINK (K Matsunyane) was hanging out from the 300m. b) Jockey O Noach reported that DESTINED TO DANCE did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) PHILOSOPHISE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised.
