THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	FOR ALL WE KNOW (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing one length.
b)	RAINBOW THIEF (C Maujean) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	After leaving the parade ring correctly shod, GLOBAL GODDESS cast its left front shoe on the way to the start which had to be replaced.
b)	The sheepskin noseband fitted to TIME CHASER (X Ndlovu) shifted marginally in running. 
c)	FLUID MOTION (*S Sisobo), which was hanging in throughout, changed stride awkwardly and became momentarily unbalanced approaching the 100m. 
d)	In view of the performances of BURNING MOON (S Khumalo) (Betting 8/1; 8,00 lengths) and MY AMI BEACH (*RA Venniker) (Betting 33/10; Distance 6.75 lengths) the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine these fillies.
e)	Jockey T Gould reported that MUR MUR took no interest in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	MADAME VICKI, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SB Kotzen was advised. (LM)
