THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DU CANE (*R A Venniker), JET LEGACY (K de Melo) and PARIS RAIN (M V'Rensburg) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) FROZEN KINGDOM (C F Dicken) and RUSSIAN WRITER (S Moodley) over-raced in the early stages. b) EL DRAQUE (T Godden) over-raced in the early and middle stages, proving difficult to assist. c) DU CANE (*R A Venniker) brushed the inside running rail at the 700m. d) Approaching the 200m, PARIS RAIN (M V'Rensburg) was carried out marginally by RUSSIAN WRITER (S Moodley) which shifted out away from the crop. Thereafter RUSSIAN WRITER (S Moodley) shifted in away from the crop. e) SUPER FAST (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A J Rivalland advised (DZ).
