THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MAGICALLEE (*M K Katjedi) and VISON OF WILL (*S Hlengwa) lost 1 length. b) CAPRIANA (S Moodley) fly-jumped leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 100m FORT J'ADORE (S Veale) was eased off the heels of OUR EMILY (*R A Venniker) which shifted out away from the crop. b) Apprentice R A Venniker signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of OUR EMILY, she failed to ensure that she did not cause interference to FORT J'ADORE (S Veale) at approximately the 100m. Accordingly a suspension from riding in races for a period of 7 days was imposed. (Dates : to be advised). c) PERFECT APPEAL (R Khathi) shifted out away from the crop between the 250m and the 100m. Jockey R Khathii appeared before the Board with regard to this and was advised to take earlier corrective measures to straighten his mounts when shifting ground in races in future. d) In view of the performance of MAGICALLEE (*M K Katjedi) (6.30 lengths, 6/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) OUR EMILY (*R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
