THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SILVER MENSA (N Klink) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The provisional result was delayed as a result of the judges calling for an additional photograph to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the placings. b) In view of the performance of SILVER MENSA (N Klink), (distance 7,50 lengths, betting 5/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) HIGHEST HONOUR (C Maujean), dead-heated winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (MS). d) WINGS OF NIKE (J P van der Merwe), dead-heated winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) SILVER MENSA was ridden by Jockey N Klink (declared 9 March 2023 at 13H29). b) ANIARA: Jockey D Schwarz weighed out at 55,2kg, 1kg over the carded weight.
