THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WAZ WOUTER (Y Ramzan) was stubborn loading, causing a delay. b) QUESTOR (*K Strydom) and BRIDGERTON (JP van der Merwe) were reluctant to load. c) REGAZZO GRANDE (X Ndlovu) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The saddle on REGAZZO GRANDE slipped back in running, placing Jockey X Ndlovu at a disadvantage. This was confirmed on viewing the video footage. b) In view of the report from the Starter regarding WAZ WOUTER (Y Ramzan), Trainer GD Smith will be advised to have this colt re-schooled prior to its next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. c) BACK FOR MORE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
