THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KYNISKA (T Godden) and ISN'T SHE BONNY (*R A Venniker) were stubborn to load. b) MADAM SENATOR (R Khathi) lost 2 lengths. c) LADY TENACITY (A Mgudlwa) jumped awkwardly and lost 1 length. d) Leaving the stalls LAW OF SUCCESS (M V'Rensburg) was bumped by KYNISKA (T Godden) which jumped out. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Jockey J Gates (LADIES DAY) reported that his saddle slipped sideways in the running. This was confirmed by the video evidence. b) Leaving the 800m, ISN'T SHE BONNY (*R A Venniker) was carried in by LADIES DAY (J Gates) which was hanging in throughout and shifted in. As a result CLASSICAL CHORD (S Moodley) was steadied off the heels of ISN'T SHE BONNY (*R A Venniker). Thereafter, Approaching the 300m, KYNISKA (T Godden) was brushed on two occasions by LADIES DAY (J Gates), which rolled in. c) Jockey J Gates appeared before the Board with regard to these incidents and was advised that irrespective of his saddle slipping he should make more of an attempt to ensure that he is not responsible for causing interference in Races in future. d) CLASSICAL CHORD (S Moodley) was hanging in throughout and shifted in between the 250m and the 100m. e) ISN'T SHE BONNY (*R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M L Roberts advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey K Matsunyane was the rider of TIME TAKER (advised 16.03.23/07h27). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
