THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WILD WILLOW (*S Sosibo) was difficult to load. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer D Nieuwenhuizen was advised (BN). b) QUITO (*M K Katjedi) jumped inwards sharply leaving the stalls. c) SIMPLY MAGIC (K de Melo) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. d) STORM JEWEL (J P van der Merwe), DELIGHTFUL ANGEL (*K A Brewer) and TIME TO THE MOON (Wes Marwing) were slow into stride. e) WILD WILLOW (*S Sosibo) was squeezed out shortly after the start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LOOK TO THE STARS (M Thackeray) hung in in the concluding stages. b) Jockey G Lerena reported that HEART OF ETERNITY made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to WILD WILLOW, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 22 March 2023 to 28 March 2023. WILD WILLOW may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer D Nieuwenhuizen was advised. d) CONVOCATION (D Schwarz), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
