THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TWIN TURBO (*S Sosibo) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) MOTOWN MAGIC (M van Rensburg) and BREEZE OVER (J P van der Merwe) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 450m, CLIMATE CONTROL (D Schwarz) was switched out to avoid running onto the heels of BREEZE OVER (J P van der Merwe). b) Jockey K Matsunyane reported that he felt something amiss with CELESTIAL CITY in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. c) Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with TOFFAS in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) In view of the performance of TWIN TURBO (*S Sosibo), (distance 7,50 lengths, betting 8/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) ZUZAN (*P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P F Matchett advised (MS).
