THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CORNWALL (M K Katjedi) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 300m, PINCH HIT (G Lerena) had to steady and switch in to avoid heels of EXPEDITIONER (R Munger), which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened. b) Jockey G Lerena reported that PINCH HIT returned with a mouth injury. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) AUSSENKEHR (D Schwarz), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A P Peter advised (LK). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) THAMBI was ridden by Jockey C Zackey(declared 25 March 2023 at 13H35).
