THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMERICAN STYLE (T Godden) was stubborn to load. Trainer A Wright was advised to re-school this filly (SL). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 1500m, RED ROSA (*S Hlengwa) was momentarily eased off the heels of YOU DESERVE IT (*R A Venniker) which rolled in. Apprentice R A Venniker appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to ensure that she is sufficiently clear before shifting ground in races in future. b) MEREDITH GREY (C Maujean) had difficulty securing clear running in the straight. c) Approaching the 100m, RECKLESS LOVE (S Veale) was switched towards the inside of the field to continue its run. d) Jockey A Mgudlwa (BAY BREEZE) accidentally dropped his crop in the concluding stages. e) DILLUH (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D S Bosch advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) BAY BREEZE raced equipped with pacifiers (advised 27.03.23/07h41). b) RED ROSA raced without blinkers (advised 23.03.23/09h55).
