THE STARTER REPORTED A) SAFARI BLUE jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. B) IDEAL VIEW and JAQUAR CAT were stubborn loading. C) PEACE IN OUR WORLD was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) JAQUAR CAT (X Ndlovu) was reluctant to canter to the start and had to be led by a handler. Trainer J H Strydom was advised that should this colt behave similarly in future it may be suspended. B) IDEAL VIEW (J Mphanya) over-raced in the early stages. C) NARCOS (R Munger) hung in from the 300m. D) The winner MARYAH was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Stable Employee Z Xamle acting on behalf of Trainer J S Snaith advised (LM).
