b)	At the 300m, a tiring GLOBAL OUTLOOK (B Jacobson) was steadied inwards off the heels of MISTER LINCOLN (S Moodley), which shifted in abruptly. Thereafter GLOBAL OUTLOOK (B Jacobson) commenced to hang in.
c)	Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with FLAMING DRUM in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
d)	Apprentice M K Katjedi reported that he felt something amiss with WHIZ BANG in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e)	In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning RUSSIAN WRITER, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
