THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	BEE IN MY BONNET (*M K Katjedi) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
b)	GREEK MISS (C Maujean) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c)	BLACK SILVER (J P van der Merwe) and QUEEN OF SMOKE (D De Gouveia) were slow into stride.	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Shortly after the start, BEE IN MY BONNET (*M K Katjedi), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, and SISTER LIGHT (K de Melo) came together and bumped.
b)	BEE IN MY BONNET (*M K Katjedi) over-raced in the early stages. Thereafter, at approximately the 250m, Apprentice M K Katjedi, briefly dropped his right-side rein resulting in BEE IN MY BONNET having to be corrected and switched in to avoid running onto the heels of GREEK MISS (C Maujean).
c)	Jockey J P van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with BLACK SILVER in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.	
d)	ESCAPE ARTIST (*D B Geerthsen), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee J Nosasa advised (LK).

JOCKEY CHANGES:
