THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CONKER THE WORLD (M Yeni) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FEATHER THE NEST (*K A Brewer) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) MAGIC FLOWER (D Schwarz) hung in from the 300m. c) Jockey D De Gouveia reported that BIRD IN SPACE changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) AFTER HOURS (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee P de Palma, acting on behalf of Trainer S J Gray, was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) AFTER HOURS was ridden by Jockey R Munger (declared 6 April 2023 at 08H48). b) FEATHER THE NEST was ridden by Apprentice K A Brewer (declared 6 April 2023 at 14H52). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) MAGIC FLOWER raced equipped with blinkers (declared 6 April 2023 at 07H42).
