THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GHALAATI (K Minnie) was stubborn loading. b) GLITTERING BOOTS (JP van der Merwe) was nervous in the stalls. c) SUCCESSFUL LADY (S Khumalo) was nervous in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. d) EXECUTOR (R Fourie) jumped with its head up. e) SUNDROP (K Steyn) jumped outwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of SUCCESSFUL LADY (S Khumalo) (Betting 3/1; Distance 8.05 lengths), which was having its first race, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) EXECUTOR, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
