THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TIZONA (D Schwarz) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) TIZONA (D Schwarz) was squeezed out shortly after the start. Thereafter INTREPID (K Matsunyane) and BLACKWHITEDYNAMITE (T Godden) were tightened and steadied. b) DANDOLO (M Yeni) over-raced in the early stages. c) DIANI (C Zackey) was hanging in from the 400m. d) LORD WYLIE (A Arries) was hanging in and shifted in from the 250m. e) At the 250m PINEAPPLE EXPRESS (S Veale) was switched to the outside of LORD WYLIE (A Arries) to continue its run. f) In view of the performances of PATRONAGE (*R A Venniker) (7.70 lengths, 16/1 in the betting), DIANI (C Zackey) (10.95 lengths, 25/2 in the betting) and EDDIE THE MOVER (*M K Katjedi) (13.35 lengths, 33/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) LORD WYLIE (A Arries), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
