Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	WHO DO YOU LOVE (A Domeyer) jumped inwards and carried WINTER FURI (A Andrews) inwards.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) Leaving the 600m PACIFIC GREEN (R Fourie) had to be steadied when racing in restricted galloping room on the inside of WHO DO YOU LOVE (A Domeyer), which was carried in marginally by BODY ELECTRIC (S Veale). WINTER FURI (A Andrews), which was following, was momentarily inconvenienced when close to the heels of WHO DO YOU LOVE (A Domeyer) as a consequence. Jockey S Veale appeared before the Board, his attention was drawn to the provisions of Rule 62.2.8 and he was advised to take more care in similar circumstances.
b)	In view of the performance of WINTER FURI (A Andrews), which was hanging out from the 200m and was not persevered with in the concluding stages, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
c)	Jockey K de Melo reported that ALLENDE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d)	HUNTING TRIP, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (SL)
