THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	COIN SPINNER (S Khumalo) was squeezed out shortly after the start.
b)	Leaving the 800m, OCEAN TIME (*S Hlengwa) was steadied off the heels of SUCCESSFUL SECRET (*D B Geerthsen) which was carried in by HOOVES OF TROY (J Gates) which was hanging in throughout, proving difficult to assist, and shifted in. Thereafter AUNTY LIZZY (*R A Venniker) was eased momentarily when racing in restricted room between TEMPTING FATE (K de Melo) and OCEAN TIME (*S Hlengwa) which rolled out marginally.
c)	At the 400m, FORMAGEAR (C Maujean) and BEECHAMWOOD BOY (S Moodley), which was hanging in throughout, came together and brushed. Thereafter FORMAGEAR (C Maujean) was steadied off the heels of WINTER FLIGHT (K Matsunyane) which rolled out.
d)	In view of the performances of BEECHAMWOOD BOY (S Moodley) (3.30 lengths, 17/2 in the betting) and HOOVES OF TROY (J Gates) (6.50 lengths, 33/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
