THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) GREGOR MACGREGOR (*R A Venniker) was hanging out from the 300m. b) Jockey R Khathi (RAFIKI) accidentally dropped his crop at the 150m. c) At the 100m, ARROW'S MARK (K Matsunyane) was carried in and steadied momentarily off the heels of FEVER (D Schwarz) which shifted in away from the crop. d) Jockey A Mgudlwa reported that he felt something amiss with MAJESTIC POWER in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) ACTION STATIONS (*S Hlengwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P V Lafferty advised (DZ).
