THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TICKET TO VEGAS (D Ashby) was reluctant to load. b) LADY CAMPER (J Jacobs) jumped awkwardly. c) ETERNAL OPTIMIST (D de Gouveia) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start LADY CAMPER (J Jacobs), which jumped awkwardly, was squeezed out between PEACE FROG (A Andrews) and ROYALS (K de Melo), which shifted out and proved difficult to straighten. b) LADY CAMPER (J Jacobs) over raced on the turn. c) BELOW DECK (R Fourie), which raced green and was hanging in throughout, shifted out sharply at the 100m when directed outwards into clear running. d) TICKET TO VEGAS (D Ashby) raced green. e) Jockey D Ashby reported that TICKET TO VEGAS did not stride out freely in running.
