THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, POSITIVE ATTITUDE (S Khumalo), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, became unbalanced making contact with CAPTAIN CHORUS (C Zackey). b) OPERA GLASS (*S Sosibo) hung in from the 200m. c) Jockey M Yeni reported that GREAT AFFAIR took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) AFRAAD (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S Moffatt advised (LK).
