Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	SERENDIPITOUS (C Little) was nervous in the stalls.
b)	OH YOKO (C Maujean) was nervous in the stalls and rushed the front gates.
c)	DATTERINI fly-jumped leaving the stalls, which resulted in Jockey K Minnie becoming unbalanced for a number of strides. Thereafter, DATTERINI (K Minnie) was slow into stride.
d)	TRILLION DREAMS (J Gates) jumped slow, losing two lengths.
e)	TIME IN PARIS (L Mxothwa) and DEAD OF NIGHT (E Webber) were slow into stride.
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	DUCHESS OF SEVILLE (R Fourie) jumped outwards slightly and made contact with TUNE AGAIN (Y 	Ramzan), which in turn bumped SERENDIPITOUS (C Little) outwards. In this incident, SERENDIPITOUS (C 	Little) was unbalanced for a number of strides. 
b)	SUMMER HEAT (MK Katjedi) was hanging in from the 400m.
c)	Jockey C Maujean reported that he felt something amiss with OH YOKO. The Veterinary Surgeon was 	requested to examine this filly.
	Trainer WGC Miller was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the 	stables.
d)	WINTER IN PARIS (M Yeni) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary 	haemorrhage and is suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The 	National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr M Bawden)
e)	MISS PRIOR, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer DG Smith, acting on behalf of Trainer GD Smith, was advised. (LM)
